    You have very little time on the plugs so I'm not ready to say somethings wrong. Your not able to get up on plane so there motor is lugging and lots of fuel being burned. Pulling the MAP sensor has the injectors dump more fuel. To much fuel washes plugs and can also wash oil from the cylinder...

    Applying power direct to pump should make it spin. Kind of bad get a new pump and it goes bad after one use The pump should get power from the pur/yel wire on the outboard terminal from the starter. Bypassing the pressure switch should also make it run if the fuse hasn't blown

    Still need the serial number or at least tell us if it has a VST or cool fuel? What is the fuel pressure at the rail? It sound different, might have injected water and would be good to check compression

    Thanks, TBV Dizzy and TKS carb If the pump runs for even a short time, the carb bowl gets filled and will run for a while until the bowl empties. If pump is not running then look at the starter to fuel pump connection, purple/Yellow wire.

    What's the serial number? Start with basics, compression test, check for spark on all cylinders What's timing set at and was is set using base timing mode? What is the fuel pressure? Have you checked for codes?

    Not vapor lock Need to tell us what you have and don't have. Is it spark or fuel issue? If still fuel, what is the fuel pump doing or not doing? What is the motor serial number?

    Compression numbers are not within 10% low to high but are good enough to run fairly well EST ignition, was it placed in base timing mode to set timing? Is there a place to connect a vacuum gauge?
