    Carburetor Issues, Dripping Carbs...

You used air and it cut off the flow. Don't know who much air pressure was used so the comment "for the most part". Changing the float height so the float will close a tad sooner will increase the force if it leaks a bit and the float is pushed harder against seat If its still flooding...

    Carburetor Issues, Dripping Carbs...

If a speck of crud got in the needle seat, this would cause initial flooding. If needle was not changed the needle "might" have a nick in it from the crud If fuel pump is at 8 psi or more, the float may not seal it off. Could change the float setting to help compensate or use pressure regulator

    STUCK 6.2L MPI

A noise is hard to determine, but if a ping would break, I don't think you would hear it. Might have been the noise from a pulley

Acting like a spun prop hub but it's not. What do I try next?

No, and think about it Has power to 2800 rpm, anything above that it looses all forward motion. If drive is busted it won't move at all

2006 Mercruiser 4.3 oil sensor alarm

Will suggest with key ON, motor not running use a voltmeter on the water pressure switch or oil pressure switch and see if the 5V reference voltage is at 5V. The sensors have 3 wires (5V Ref, Ground, sensor). Reason to measure is to find out if the 5V Ref is being pulled down lower then 5 If...

Volvo Penta KAD 300 power steering issue

Would need to know which steering system is on the boat. If it uses standard teleflex or similar hydraulic steering, I would check the fluid level. Its checked at the helm and might also need to be bleed

Rust on valve, means water got into the motor and may have also rusted a rod or main bearing. Intake gasket would be first thought. When old gasket was removed did you see anything indicating a leak?
