    Your probably getting 12V from the Neg side of the coil with key ON. The white/green connects to Gray or connects at the coil. Most likely there are 2 wires on the coil Neg side This is how you should have been wired prior to EST

    Depending on what was and was not connected when timing it may have no bearing. You mentioned connecting dizzy to 12V so that part is good. Jumping the 2 whites together

    Should only get 12V at pump when float switch is lifted or toggle switch is turned ON. Now if the float switch is creating the ground and not power, then check the ground

    The x1 setting is your 1K setting. While a digital is more accurate, with 3,4 you need a almost dead short (0.4 ohms) which the meter is deflecting to zero so I would say its good Step 2 looks good Step 5 is showing 4 to 5K ohms Are your re-zeroing the meter for each scale prior to measuring...

    Maybe your meter is not good. Previous test on dizzy coil showed it was bad Use some small pieces of wire to put inside points

    The bilge pump should be powered direct from the Bat thru a fuse. Most likely its mis-wired This one shows a pump with a high water alarm switch This is one without and also a light and more like yours I would guess

    With looking at both connectors on the dizzy, remove the one on the right. This is used for base timing and also for shift interrupt
