    If its easy to pull the motor I would go that route. I replaced one by doing the Merc way with drilling to holes and it came out ok, but took some time. Many others have done the JR marine method and also did ok

    Use a screw drive or similar as a pry bar and move the starter gear out. There should be a good amount of tension trying to keep the gear where it is. So pry it out and it should snap back quick and strong. If it doesn't then might need a new spring. Next bench test it a few times so it...

    The bilge is fused straight from the Bat. The blower normally has no connection to ignition power. Look for a 20 amp inline fuse on the Red/Purple wire Also measure voltage on the Red/Purple it should be there always
