    Most likely the chopper prop is the issue At WOT what rpm are you turning? What is the drive ratio? Is your speed coming from the boat gauge or a gps?

    Sounds electrical Place a voltmeter on the positive side of the coil and see if power is lost. If it is then trace backwards to the key then the motor and down to the starter/battery

    This is your issue. A Bat going dead in one day has something draining it big time. Disconnect all positive leads. Connect each one, one at a time and see if there is a spark. The one that sparks is probably the issue

    I doubt the hull is to thick, a sounder will not go thru air. Rinker uses the standard plywood hull and glass. Place the transducer next to hull, then put enough water in the bilge to cover the bottom of it. Use a sand bag or something similar to hold it in place...

    Have not seen exploded views with boats The crossover is in front of the motor and crosses over both sides of the motor. You never said if its raw water cooled or closed cooled (AF). If closed, then the crossover is under the heat exchanger
