    Could also take the cam to a machine shop to find out if it can be repaired. Polish the lobes and if bearings need to be turned If you use old cam, keep the lifter position marked for each lode

    There is another thread about this but in short: The Reg has been on the books for many years, its nothing new. Boats which were not produced with one do not have to install one, but it is a good idea. All boats under 26 feet and around mid 70's (don't quote me) will have one

    Coosa board will be fine for what your wanting. The issue is strength and this can be done with fiber glass tabbing, inside and out. Do remove the gelcoat down to glass Find the windless your wanting to install before making the box. See what the requirements are so the box size can match

    If it fits it will work. The cable could wrap around the boat, and if it connects it will work Problem will be if its to long and unable to connect
