    350 mag drain plugs?

That's a CAT motor and more then likely it will have a single point drain system. I see a blue plug (I think) on top of the motor, front port side. It may have the air pump drains on the sea water pump. Something like this kind of setup

    350 mag drain plugs?

Depends on which 350 and its cooling system The GM 350 has 2 plugs, one on each side of the block. Exhaust 2, one on each manifold If EFI will have one on fuel cooler/module Were up to 5 now Then add in 2 more if its a newer Bravo water pump, or maybe only one if not newest. In other words...

    Hot coil, no crank...

If this is not a new to you boat and it just happened, need to check the neutral safety switch in the throttle control. Turn key to start and hold it there while moving it FWD/REV just slightly. Don't put it in throttle only mode. IF it cranks then that's all it is. If it doesn't fix it...

    Knock Sensors?

Just don't fasten then along side the plug wires. They can run parallel for a short distance then try to get then as far apart as can be done. Many go across the motor and straight down over the manifold to the sensor

Volvo Penta SX-M outdrive lower case rebuild

Not a VP guy but maybe my comment will bring in another Most manuals list adjustments based on new and old components. New gears/bearings have tighter backlash then used ones. To increase backlash the gears need to come further apart and is usually done by removing shims on the bearing race

    Knock Sensors?

It doesn't take all of the timing out, just the amount up to about 12* retard Looking at the bottom shading of pic above it shows: At 1000 rpm timing can go from 8* to -5* Above 1800 rpm timing goes from 25* to 12* It will vary based on the module and sensitivity of the sensor. The more knock...

Outdrive won't go up high enough for trailering

That's a Merc control like whats on my Formula. The 2 rockers below the throttle are the trim tabs. There will be another single switch which would be labeled trailer, this is the trailer drive button. If it does not work then its the switch or the wiring. Below is mine which I was replacing...

Hydrolock, swim platform, riser height and static water line question

If the boat is not sitting lower from years ago then there should be no issue. Only reason for it to sit lower is weight Edit: Unless there is part of the inside of the elbow which has worn away

Help selecting prop. Currently no top end.

I have no direct knowledge of Quintrex boats. Member @achris lives on your side of the pond and may have some ideas. Many folks here really like the Enertia for top end speed.

Outdrive won't go up high enough for trailering

It might be part of the shifter. On a Merc look at the bottom right hand corner of the shifter cover plate. See if the corner looks a bit different then the other side. In many cases its rubber and just needs to be pressed in hard Otherwise post a pic so we can see what you have

Adding Joystick to Mercruiser DTS Boat?

I'm sure it can, I was using Merc's parts layout by serial number and motor type and the parts are not listed. Look forward to finding out what the dealer advises

Adding Joystick to Mercruiser DTS Boat?

Have not heard of anyone adding it but also not seeing Axius system on the 8.2 motors. Have found it on 5.7 motors It does require full hydraulic steering to the drives can be turned in different directions. There are other systems out there not just Merc like Seastar.

Anchor advice needed for rocky and tree bottom lake

Normal connection at the end, not at the claw. You can put a lot of force like a claw hammer pulling backwards to break it loose. I'm also all chain and its a Formula PC so the anchor tucks into a pocket on the bow

Anchor advice needed for rocky and tree bottom lake

When there are trees about any anchor can get hung. I boat in one of those and use a Bruce (Claw) anchor and so far have not lost it in maybe 20 years. Would have lost in some years back but had scuba gear and freed it
