    Your location ?----Find a new / used housing , perhaps on E-bay.-----Then bust that housing making sure that the broken screw stays intact.----Use heat to remove broken screw.-----Easy fix here.

    The hole in the pump housing gets jammed with that white powder ( aluminum oxide ) and locks it up.---A few taps with a small hammer.----A bit of heat may help here.

    What do you mean by the " start alarm " ?-----If that is the overheat warning self check then I do not believe the issue is the neutral switch,-----I would say you need to split the control box and see why there is no power at the ignition switch !

    Have you looked at the weight of one of these motors compared to say a 1972 model 25 HP motor ?-----I believe in the order of 90 / 100 LBS heavier for the 2010 model.

    Are you referring to pistons with what are called --" pressure back " piston rings ???-----To me this all indicates that oil / lubrication in a 2 stroke is not well understood.

    Nope ----all Johnson / Evinrudes can run at 50:1 since 1964 model year.----But yes with a little extra oil the motor will last more hrs.

    Those 4 cylinder 50 HP are just an excellent motor.------Hopefully it was treated right during it's 35 year life.

    Where did you find that break in procedure ?----What manual ?----Perhaps it is for an oil injected motor .-----That would be oil from oil injection and 50:1 from the tank so that results in double the oil !!
