    Hello, how can I know the length of the Leg of my outboard, or what is required for my boat. The outboard is a 1989 85HP serial 856X9F. The boat is a 1989 Bayliner Capri 1750. I'm looking for ourboards in case I'm not able to rebuild mine. Thanks

    I used only one bucket and had some left over, the transom for my Bayliner is very small, actually the lady from transomrepair.net takes this seriously and gave me a call to confirm the volume needed, they will not sell you if you are planning to do partial repairs... the stringers were in good...

    Hi. I changed gaskets on the carbs and stopped the leaking, now I started the timing procedure but i couldn't find a timing mark on the block, where is it supposed to be? If there is no timing mark I jeed to find TDC and make a mark to align the mark in the flywheel decal to the block right?

    oh one more thing, the ones I found in ebay are for another 1989 85HP outboard,,, mine should be F691015 and this ones are F372015-3, this ones according to this chart bore size are 0.001" bigger so I assume this pistons may be a little bit bigger, 0.001" seems nothing with the wear I measured...
