    Yamaha 130hp won't start ... spark plugs dry

    1993 Yamaha 130hp 2-stroke 130TLRR. Ran fine in the morning, then wouldn't start in the evening. Has spark. The plugs are dry...even after choking her while turning her over. could it be the fuel pump? will an outboard still fire/run even with a bad fuel pump? if not only for a few seconds?

    is Teleflex and Sea Star interchangeable?

    I have a Teleflex rack style helm on my 1995 Nitro 170TF bass boat. It came with a single cable cause it originally came with a 60hp merc. I upgraded to a 115hp and would like to change to a dual cable. Will a Sea Star cable fit my Teleflex helm?

    Adjusting carbs on 130hp Yamaha

    I purchased a Yamaha service manual for my 1993 130TLRR and on page 2-6 in the Maintenance Service section there is a chart showing carburetor specs. On the pilot screw turns out line for the 130, it shows 7/8 +_ 1/4. Does this really mean only 7/8ths of a turn out, plus or minus a quarter turn...

    130hp Yamaha 2-stroke rusty cylinder

    Need tiny tach help...

    Got a tiny tach to use on my 1969 25hp johnson. It works but the readings are all over the place. At idle it jumps from 620 to 1130 rpms but the motor stays idling at a constant speed. Anyone use these tachs and know any "tricks" to get them to read more stable?
