    Need help from a photo upload guru.

    I tried to upload what I thought were jpeg, but were converted to jpe on upload. This took my site allowable size from 56kb to 17kb and the smallest I could take the photos was 23kb. I had to convert to gif to upload and they have horrible resolution. Advice? Thanks.

    '01 Johnson 50, bypass VRO or not?

    I am picking up an almost new 2001 Johnson 50 this weekend and am considering bypassing the VRO in favor of mixing to prolong its life. I just opened up a 1997 Evinrude (with VRO) that trashed a rod bearing with no signs of overheating. Please advise. Thanks.
