    Merc 250 Verado Fuel increase

You were right and the O-ring had a crack, replaced and took readings. Manual list 42.1-43.9 psi at idle - I read 39 psi and vibrating 49.3-53.7 psi key ON - I read 45 psi and it would fall down to about 40 Called Merc Tech support early and their system was down so they were unable to look me...

    Merc 250 Verado Fuel increase

Will retry today to get the FP gauge attached. Have placed an order for 16 plugs. Figured iridium plugs would last longer than that. Stbd was replaced last year. Already have the fuel filters I'm not going to replace the drive belt just yet

Will check but I was able to tighten with fingers a good ways til it was tight and still leaked. Tighten a turn and a half more with a wrench but didn't want to go more. With it still leaking I loosened but had to use the wrench almost all the way, didn't get easier until almost full off. Afraid...

    Merc 250 Verado Fuel increase

Launched boat and wound up with 2 new issues. The first appears to be a slightly low Bat on the starboard motor. If keys are turned ON and each provides a single beep and it's started right away, I get 2 more beeps. It only happens with starboard and not the port. If I turn the key ON and wait...

Mike, could use a recommendation My 2023 Chap deck is Gel coat and has the small square pattern. The Gel is very thin and is already wearing through. Thought about using epoxy topside paint, but is there something else which would be better?

    Larson, 4.3 GL-J, SX-A electrical gremlins

I would look closer at the 10 pin harness connector. Numbers 2 and 3 are dealing with 2 different wires going thru the connector. The trim gauge has it's own separate wire and is powered by the purple wire at the helm

    4.3 MPI 2010 sn# 1A635910

The sensor wire should not have 5V on it, and this is why the ECM says the oil pressure is high. The sensor lead has 5V weather the key is ON and motor is OFF, also when it's running. Need to be able to disconnect the sensor wire from the ECM. If the Gray (5V) and Blk/Pnk (Ground) are...
