    I'll go along as the other guys have said since it happened to me. The pump is frozen, either from trash jamming the impeller or just plain seized up due to rust/corrosion. Time for a new pump.

    Thanks, that explains it. All of the ramps here, at least saltwater ramps, are concrete that extends far beyond the length of a large boat and trailer.

    Have you run the motor with the fuel cap removed? Can you confirm there are no restrictions in the vent system?

    My trailer has side bunks and I like them. As others have said they help center the boat and helps with a crosswind. I'm only a saltwater guy and haven't heard the term power loading. Is it using the motor to drive the boat onto the trailer? if so why is not allowed in places?

    You can't have a "too big" of a battery as in capacity just size and weight.

    Have you turned everything on then pull the fuse and see what dies? This has nothing to do with your problem but are you sure your radio fuse is a 15a fuse?

    Saltwater gets repetitive sometimes too. There are chances you'll see some kind of life and maybe a national graphic moment but when you get 10 to 15 miles offshore it's nothing but water water everywhere.
