    heat soak heat soak heat soak .....try hot vinigar to loosen the calcium/salt start with a small centered drill then move up patience brings joy....

    T&T usually works on it's own ...if you located the t&T issue the rest should follow imho anyway inspect all connectors... twist and turn the wiring for a reaction while activating T&T check harness bends check 12v .... coming out of the fuse socket

    no codes is good... but the ECU_EMM can'T tell you what it does not "sense" like clogged injectors .or filters etc... Not a FICHT expert but I read a lot .. :) almost sounds like fuel starvation or restriction . have you checked all filtering and that little tricky filter in the VST...

    sometimes.... the darkenned...crushed washers are stuck in place and you need a small pick to pull them out look VERY closely in any event inslall new ones everytime to change the oil

    stuff to read and apply http://www.leeroysramblings.com/OMC_9.5.htm the side knob limits the throttle travel at the lower end so you can set the low limit on rpm'S for idling turn the side knob knob and you will see the throttle rotate slowly

    possibly but much like a vapor separator on modern ETEC or older FICHT air in the fuel should just rise to the surface inside the carb and just exit out the vent hole leaving just fuel to be drawn by the crankcase vacum via LS and HS jets /needles if air actually gets sucked in the fuel...

    sorry missed the vst question...The VST teardown seems pretty straight forward as well should I need to do that part too ?. Aside form a HP pump failure (thankfully you have no EMM fault codes) the 2 mains issues with the VST imho anyway would be a water coil leak or a stuck inlet float...
