    put 2 gyproc srcews on a wood board 3/8 inch appart (top rims) ...easy as pie :) wire one to the engine block wire the other to the plug boot clip see if the spark jumps across. :-) report back !!

    the rear pulse hole of the pump exposes the diaphragm to the fuel-oil mixture routed to the cylinder ports so it is normal to see it " wet " the inner surface is of course handling the fuel and pushes it to the carb with check valving ...so both surface are ...wet the important issue...

    depending on the fuel hose you have .....you have a single or two ended connector hose in the mean time ..... to stop suction air leaks try a few wraps of cellophane and tape around one end (ex: motor side) end ..... see if problem clears up then try the other end and do the...

    what you ear are the up and down relays likely. The selenoid needs the key to be energized. T&T should operate up and down from the cowl buttons. Dealers have keys... the switch face may have small numbers printed ex:74 identyfying which key you need

    stick a shop vac on the pee hole (adapt the hose accordindly) if you find no blockage if nothing apply air pressure btw it pumps but...did you inspect he impeller coud be just a piece of rubber went up the wtare tube and is stuck

    chinese pumps??? .....I had issues with some rebuiling is tricky to say the least how did you mount the pump ??? the square pumps are pulsed from the rear with a gasket pictures ??? if you have a pulse line you can try a sqware mikuni pump also

    unfortunately the GC should have been drained and likely cracked. draining and refilling is a seasonnal obligation. & with the sharp freeze temps going further South every year now I'll bet you a lot of GC will be cracked by next Spring !

    always time to learn special tools may be required .. some utubes may help. get a good shop manual put in the top oil bolt/screw & try to pressurize the GC via the bottom with that much leakage you MAY have a busted gearcase and you will hear air rushing out if it leaks that...

    1995 Johnson 112 won't stop trimming down

    keep us posted on what you find :) just be minful that a bad relay can suddenly be OK if the contacts release on their own when you pull/sake it ... but the problem will return !! :eek: at the wrong time of course (murphy's law) all the relays do is reverve the polarity sent to the motor...
