    1989 Force 15 is this water output enough?

    Looks like you don't have enough water in your barrel.....the cavitation plate needs to be 4 inches or more under water for the impeller to pump properly. Try that and see if it makes a difference. Maybe even 6 inches. Your cavitation plate is barely under water.

    Is this normal wear on a distributor belt?

    I used a good flywheel puller and had no problem getting mine off. Since I was putting my original FW on the rebuilt PH I went ahead and did the lapping with the valve grinding compound, just to be sure it fit right. 90 Ft lbs on the FW nut.....no problems so far. My factory manual explained...

    1978 Chrysler 85HP Powerhead Swap

    Jerry.....that locating disc is in fact under the water pump seal. It's just a plastic washer. Decided to leave the old seal alone since it looked in good shape, but you can see it in there. Got a new seal and new locating disc and will probably change them the next time I service the pump. (y)

    Chrysler 75 hp. Difference in spacer plate to same motor?

    Do you see any part numbers on either spacer plate? According to several parts diagrams it should be FA404680 or 817788A3(superseded)

    I had to order one of those a few weeks ago.....when I found that my distributor cap didn't have one either.....although it had been running for years without one. Like Jerry said, it helps to keep moisture out. (y)

    Take a look at FB marketplace or CL for similar motors, see what they are going for.....if they are in running condition they are worth a lot more than $100 each.

    Fuel tank dimensions

    Mod Edit. iBoats sells senders and supplies this forum. Check out this link if you end up needing a sender.....SAE 5-hole pattern and comes in lengths of 4-60 inches. Installed one on my tank several years ago...works good. Just need to know the depth of your tank. They have gauges too.
