    1996 polaris sl 780 to much oil?

    I suggest you google about SL780 front cyl running hot ......quite a bit of info there. Nothing that cant be sorted but you need to know. As for the oil .....might depend on the brand ,and the possibility that someone has fiddled with the oiling in a misguided attempt to stop that front...

    Valve Lubricant

    I used to use a lead substitute in my pinto Capri engine because it doesnt yet have hardened exhaust valve seats . Works well too , without it I lose about a thou of valve clearance per 1000km's. That engine is not in use now .

    I dont buy a lot of spirits ....gin for Mum and a single malt for Dad, so I tend to go for something special , last time I got locally made Stewart Island gin for Mum and again locally made single malt made in Wanaka ....where they live so the big brand names get passed over.

    I was watching "Brendons garage " on you tube because he had an old 20hp johnson and I was looking to see if I could learn something as there have been a couple of them here lately , any how he cranks this thing up in the workshop and runs it dry for a few minutes 🤯.     Most of the whales I have seen footage of have some serious scars from natural predators and while I would not like to see one hurt, even a cut from fibreglass ( are they fibreglass or plastic ) would probly be like a shaving cut.......I duno 🤔. We had a Humpback whale wash up on the beach here...

    It has varied a bit here. At the time we got our house for 125k we had to have the 25k in cash (not another loan ). I see more often parents ( or other family )are having to throw some finance in to get the kids started .

    An internal short in any coil will act as a secondary winding and can get hot and/or send corrupt signals to any electronic stuff.

    Dont lever it ....while the flywheel itself is quite sturdy what your levering against might not be and you wouldnt be the 1st to break something trying to lever it off , best get a suitable puller . A chinese made puller will work fine if you get the right type .

    I worry for young people here coz they need better than 100k cash deposit to get a mortgage now. By the time the average young un saves that they will need 200k . Banks are now offering shared lending , where 2 or more peeps own the mortgage , which does get them on the real estate ladder...
