Holley or carter 2-port fuel pressure regulator. Holley p/n 12-803 or Carter 404501HP most of them have zinc coated hardware. however a rattle can of engine paint takes care of that.
at 12 psi, the motor wont run cold or warm as the carb would be dumping fuel down the intake.
what is the dwell set to on the points?
what does the fuel look like?
two reasons to backfire thru the carb. dwell and timing is off, or the carb is gummed up and its running lean
hit the wood with OTF
radius the substrate edges you will be wrapping.

2 mill painters plastic sheeting is great between the foam and vinyl to allow it to move about as you are upholstering
work in the sun, let the sun warm the vinyl, it will be pliable and stretch bette.

you will need either the title of the boat or the prior owners signed registration slip AND a bill of sale to get it registered in your name.

battery only voltage is always lower than alternator voltage. thats why when the engine is running, the voltage increases..... (and lights get brighter, and fans run faster, etc)
its also why the coil voltage was 5.2 on battery only and went up to 9.6 volts.
these two sentences are a dichotomy.
if the voltage is dropping while cranking to 10.5 with one battery or two batteries, the issue is either the ground lug on the block or the power connection at the starter, or the ground and power at the cannon plug.
they like white and bright yellow. when the Admiral had the bright yellow VW convertible, an entire swarm landed on us in traffic.....
when I was gel-coating the boat, there were about 100 that I had to sand out of the gel
check battery connections and other wiring to the starboard engine. if the voltage is low during cranking and is dropping, that would be bad connections somewhere
No.
Most RV shops just staple OSB
I went BCX ply and it's glued and screwed.
The seams and screw holes are caulked over
Then the glue went down, and the PVC membrane was rolled
I'm parked under the oak for shade. Those are the shadows of the leaves . There is a leaf or two in the glue..... And a love bug or two.... will be there in 20 years from now
Were we were just before putting the glue down and wrestling with the PVC membrane
Then it rained.
Will get more pics after it stops raining and maybe some trim is on
