What is the Best Way to Repair the Snaps on a Sunbrella Cover

I'd pull all the current snaps, stitch on a double of the fabric front and back and then install the new snaps in proper locations.... essentially essentially a trim piece the size of the area between the stitches pictured. When my cover was made that's what my guy did and he put some plastic...

Tinkering on the 4.3l this winter...

Dad spent the weekend at the lake with it, was very very pleased with its performance with the 4 barrel. With 6 people on board I did drop back to the 19p. It did it with the 21p, still maintained 45-4600 WOT with the bimini up and a ton of crap on board, but the 19 was snappy. Found a gentleman...

USPS, How does this even happen. Comical

I had a package depart from northern NJ to come to Central NJ... it ended up in Connecticut and took about a week to receive, bouncing through 2 regional centers. FedEx has yet to deliver me a package on time, undamaged or at all. UPS is surprisingly decent for me.

    Woods 9180RD Batwing came apart

I'm not an excellent welder by any means... my knee jerk response is that a grinder and paint can cover all sins. That being said, I agree, you got this. Also, maybe nordlocks for the bolts?

[SPLASHED] I/O (Sterndrive) Conversion to Outboards

The plant is basically an algae farm this time of year, been thinking about biodiesel... but I'm sure they'll find a way screw me on that too. Is government run after all.

I just tossed 700 in the 330 and it isn't even close to half a tank.

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

This is dad. This is the second time dad has driven the boat since the restoration. This is the first time dad has driven it at the lake since it was restored. Dad looks happy. What dad didn't know ia that I managed to sneak my sister and her boyfriend up to meet us with the wave runner. Dad was...

Upgrade to 4bbl, what about throttle cable bracket?

I thought they just were stopping future development on carbueration.

Upgrade to 4bbl, what about throttle cable bracket?

It originally had one of those adjustable holley mechanical fuel pumps on it... that thing never acted right. Went back to an oem and have a stable... admittedly every time I've checked it... 6psi. The floats were adjusted via the sight hole. I have 2 things I want to check. I suspect, the cam...

Upgrade to 4bbl, what about throttle cable bracket?

Yeah I don't understand it. I can have the thing perfect in June and then by beginning of August it's like swapping the metering blocks, jets, floats, power valve, pump shot, cam and nozzles never happened. Ive never in my life had a carb go from being tuned perfect to like I just slapped it on...

Upgrade to 4bbl, what about throttle cable bracket?

With how bad most poncho intakes are, the 650 is probably fine. Got a street avenger 770 on a 409 Pontiac and it's a little too much for a driver. Always fighting the secondaries for good driver habits vs all out. That had the 650 on it but anything cooler than 65 with the amount of cam it...

Upgrade to 4bbl, what about throttle cable bracket?

I really like holleys, have them on performance stuff, but holy hell do they constantly need adjusting on what I have them on. The holley 4000 I have runs as well as efi, so thats a lie. For daily and mild stuff, hands down prefer the AFB. Set it and forget it. And holleys QC on their new stuff...

Upgrade to 4bbl, what about throttle cable bracket?

I also was going to do the 1409 on my 4.3. I did luck out and got a 4.3 carb from a friend off his V6 in a fair trade for a bottle of wine. One calibration kit and one tank and rebuild later and all is well. The 1409 is the better choice if you don't have that option for sure.

    Sunseeker 21’ Rebuild

Cost probably and that it really doesn't need to be as strong with all the glass on it. Figure if they're using how many sheets for the deck core it's probably more cost... cheaper to use one more sheet for the stringer core. I'd guess dimensional alone is probably strong enough for most hulls...

    Sunseeker 21’ Rebuild

I agree with everything you wrote. I just worry about how well a wood screw will bite into the grain end of half inch ply. If it were 3/4 I would be more comfortable but you don't get a ton of wiggle on half. I cleated my stringers with nailers for the deck so I had 2 inches of structure every...
