    I think you were asking me? I replaced it with a used same engine. My mechanic found this conversion kit. It is very simple & works like a charm! The belts turn on the old stator. It was not expensive!

    Water was in the bilge. There was no antifreeze in the water & the engine temperature was perfect the entire time.

    It does have a water impeller up front. That impeller rides in the end of the cam. If it begins loosing water from that cover up front it could be due to the seal being worn or even the cam having wear & could be polished to fix that. ask me how I know this!

    Outdrive does not move

    I probably need to build a buss to attach most of my wires to. Clean it up. I have 3 wires maybe 4 in the positive & at least 4 in the Negative, in one of the 2 batteries. It’s easy to loose one when they are all removed.

    My cables are not color coded well. That black wire with the red tip that was on the + belonged on the -! I also found 2 small wires poss & neg that I believe goes to the switch. Thank you for your assistance!

    When I tightened the large wire on the solenoid the screw shaft turned. Could that have broken something inside of the solenoid?
