Tanks fits great, all i need is to get SS nuts for my bolts, wich by the way need to be at least 6".

Looks nice and clean Azlo, kinda like an operating room. You sure you will want to mess that up with fish blood??

Sounds like a fair deal to me...it's not too late to engineer a raw-water washdown apparatus:D

Great idea. I've one in my boat and it's proved to be a blessing - you clean up on the spot. I'm amazed how good salt water is at washing away blood and guts. So Az, I suggest you take up HA's idea and then your fishing buddies can bring the beer. If you drink enough, the washdown will pay for itself in no time! :D

Thanks CheapboatKev, But just when i thought i was advancing i realized to day that i have water in the oil!!!!!!! SOMB!! Well, now i have to the rebuild the 4 cyl, but this is a restoration after all. I just hope its not the block. Crap being a newbie at this just hit me, but thats what the liquor is for. By the way I drink everclear w/ bacardi. Love it. Goona need it today.

Are ya tryin' ta water down the Everclear with the Bacardi???... Or just give it a little more flavor, maybe? I'm beginning to understand why you thought that if you turned your diningroom table upside-down, it'd make a fine boat!!! Seriously, though, nice rig. Have a good time with the resto.

Azlo, I had a washdown hose idea going through my head. If I installed a pump for a livewell, I could install a valve in the line that would divert the water to a hose. I was thinking of a coiled air line type. When I wanted I could put water in livewell or turn valve and use the coiled hose to wash the deck/splashwell. I was thinking of installing it under the splashwell or gunwale. Whatcha think?

Haha, Everclear is good because of the fast kick but only in moderation. As far as the table boat, believe it or not people do use table for boats.

It was funny to me in the beggining but than I realised that it was a symbol to me. Symbol of if u really want something u can make it happen no matter what people think, no matter what it is, as long it works. (Or maybe I need to lay off the sauce a little)

Hmmm, one pump for multiuse Nice. But the valve would have to be 3 way right. I like, I like. I think once i put everything together Im gonna have to sit down & see where I can put the live well also. This is a good idea fshngho.

I wish I could of finished it in one year Jerry butbeing new to this I realised that there were things that needed to thought and done right. I dont want to throw money & then watch it sink on splash day. So patience slowly became part of this show. Anyways I have come to like routine i do now. I work on my boat for an hour or 2 eat, watch tv (usually fishing shows) and then go back to the boat another 2 hours and then call it a day. Im learning to smell the roses as I walk. (something like that)
