Epoxy update: 24 hours have passed and epoxy has cured. I walked to the garage barefooted to test hoe the epoxied sand would feel. Man this stuff is agressive. It feels like that non skid tape, like sand paper. You wont slip on this stuff, but if u fall u will scrape the s@#$t out of your knees. Soo, I went ahead and aplied some paint to see if it would soften the agressiveness of this non skidness.
One thing for sure. The sand is not going anywhere. I have ordered some non skid additive , maybe this tuff will be softer. Will see.
