Re: 1976 tri-hull project

The dash came out real nice.

Thanks a lot man! I really do appreciate it. I liked it as-well, it matches the guages and the stereo, so that looks clean.

There is still quite a bit to do though, but I have been lazy, well that is not entirely true, really this economics class has been consuming most of my time this week, this prof thinks we should read 300 plus pages a week, so it has been a little work just keeping up with that class, lol and that is only par not even exceeding in the class.

This afternoon I will be working somemore on the boat, get that sucker ready for a test tomorrow.

Thanks Again ezmobee ~

Re: 1976 tri-hull project

like this...

Oh ok I see. that looks pretty entailed though, you might have to supervise me on that one.

The carpentry end not a problem got that handled, however the upholstery is an issue I would need to employ Mike D the upholsery guy, lol actually Mike D is just a cool friend, but he can do a little upholstery. I am not certain he can handle this task either, as he is good with re-covering making it look the way it was, but I do not think he has ever done any knd of seats, lots of seams in seats, and he never really did upholstery before he covered the interior of my boat, lol if the truth be told he is an electrician. LOL :D, who just so happened to do a great job re-covering my interior!

It looks real clean, the only thing that concerns me a little bit, is how much room it will take up in the back.

Wouldn't need to be so fancy. Just imagine taking off the sunpad and having a huge fishing deck. And all the storage under the bench seat and on both sides of the motor... This is what I would do if I ever transplanted a 4.3 in "Hurry Up" or it will be the config of my next boat...

Ok I can visualize it now! Yeah that really would provide ample storage, and I do like the idea of having fishing deck / sun bench. I am going to give it some thought and see where my mind takes me. I imagine we can come up w/ something that will work.

LOL funny you say that next boat, well i bought a shuttle craft, one of those pretend boats that you park a jet ski or see doo inside. LOL I do not even own a jet ski, but a few of my friends do and my little borther may get one, so it will have a real home here soon, as the heat increases.

Thanks for all your help man!

Re: 1976 tri-hull project

Really been at it the last two days, with a lot of progress.

Guages installed and mounted, all the wiring is complete, the blower motor was installed, also the sea water pump was installed. Wired up the fish finder / depth finder, added in the stern light and the bow light, got them all wired up.

Installed the control and throttle handle ( lol quite the job getting it all adjusted and perfect for the water, so that took a little time ), it was a lot more challenging than at first glance, lol even with a template! But after it was all said and done, it workd like a champ smoothe as butter, love the push button nuetral start!

Installed and mounted all the side panels and the front speaker panels, mounted the amplifier and the sub-woofer.

Installed the stereo with the new black enclosure, has an automatic door on it, the one I had last year you had to hold open when changing a cd or ipod, so the automatic door is nice ( almost as nice as the automatic bilge pump, which by the way I love too).

Put the first $20 in the new tank tonight and she fired up with no flaws!!

~~~ Varoom ~~~
Installed the hand rails and the vents, glassed and added evercoat filler on the nose, ready to sand that and gelcoat it tomorrow.
On top of all that went and got my registration today 09' "Yeah"
A whole $25 (cheapest thing on the boat to date)
New face cover arrived tonight, its for the Garmin keeps sun and elements out while durring play hours (havent opened it out of package yet).
Installed seats and doghouse (added new stainless latch on it).
Installed the windshield
Think that completes the last two days list.
LOL over 644 pictures inside photobucket now, so if your bored or just want to keep up with the project, please by all means go take a peek.
As always a few pics in the meanwhile just as a tease.
Yeah we pulled her back out, still need to sand and gelcoat the nose, then its on to bringing that trailor up to speed with the boat.
All the extra horsepower, I need to change my prop w/more pitch, and now I am contemplating smart tabs.
thanks man
What a day! It was awesome boat ran flawless, really solid and very happy when it is all said and done.
LOL the boat ran so well, we soon forgot about it, and concentrated on having a good time (which came easy).
My lil bro and mike d both caught stripers, neither one of them have ever cauhgt a striper before, so now they have a taste of the "fever", which I find super cool, trun them boys into fishermen!
About mid-day we were scooting acroos the lake near Calville marina, wehn we noticed a bass tournamnet boat in need of assistance, being the nice guy that I am I replied sure we can tow you in buddy, thats when they told us they had caught thier 10 largemouth limit, so that felt good helping those guys.
All in all it was a success, safe and fun day (less my sunburn lol)
Here are a few pictures for the meanwhile, as normal more to view in photobucket.
Also I would like to take this time, just to thank a few guys on here that have been very helpful with insight and advice, if I left anyone out, it wasnt intentional.
DonS,Ezmobee,Bear_69cuda,jscersca,mark42, and big thanks to anyone I may have left out~ Truth be told all of you guys are alright, and Thanks so much, couldnt have happened without all of your guys help.
~~ Rock on Iboats ~~ :cool:
So awesome that you had a great first day out in it. Not only did it run well but you towed someone else in and had a successful fishing trip. Bet you couldn't ask for more than that! What kind of speed is that beast gettin'?
