This is one of two identical Silvertons we picked up recently. The one I will be restoring this winter has twin chrysler 318 engines. The other boat I plan to do next year has a single chrysler 360.
The 318's both run excellent, which is why i will be going to all the trouble of restoring this boat completely.
List of projects to be done immediately:
1.) Remove 20+ layers of non-ablative bottom paint
2.) Clean bilge-THROUGHLY
3.) Strip engines down to longblocks/trannies to prep for painting
4.) Remove rusted hot water tank
5.) Remove all battery trays
6.) Remove all remaining hardware in bilge
7.) Prime engines for paint
8.) Paint engines
9.) Paint bilge
10.) Replace cracked head (toilet)
11.) Install new Webasto FCF Heat & A/C Unit
