Since I'm putting A/C in the boat and redoing some of the other electrical, I decided I better get some REAL AC & DC power distribution panels. I went with Blue Seas panels, for the simple reason that they are built to last with quality components. Buy it once, install it once, use it forever. If you buy those cheap seachoice panels from china, plan on corrosion and problems down the road. You will be making more work for yourself.
Anyhow, enough of my ranting about doing it right the FIRST time... :joyous:
I chose to use a wiring access panel cover at the lower helm. I will be putting it on a piano hinge (the reallly long one-piece hinges) so I can get behind the panels for any future additions easily.
