Re: 1977 Starcraft Supersport

Today I got the starboard side completely scuffed and primered. I'm just using rattle can primer right now to get it covered up. I was playing with my paint gun today and was having problems with air pressure. I would set it at 40psi with trigger pulled then it would jump to 80psi after sitting a few seconds with the trigger not pulled. I think this is partially because I was regulating at the compressor and not the gun. I'll move it and see what happens. If it doesn't work I will just get a big water trap for my tow behind compressor and use it. It flows around 70cfm at 100psi.

I also got my piece of oak cut out for up at the bow. It turned out decent for having to completely cut it out with the jig saw.

And w/ the SOTY 2012 in the bag, 'going bare' will get even more popular......

Always like the way they look with the polished or brushed aluminum.

I just like shiny things

Now they are talking light snow for the next three days. I don't think I will be able to get any paint put down this week. I guess I will just have to finish up my list next week.

I just drove home from work in some heavy blowing snow. I think summer might have been cancelled this year :( .

It dont feel that warm

Ain't that the truth? We're running 10-12 degrees below normal and I'm getting tired of rain. At least all our lakes are full for the first time in years.

See BN --- gotta come to Canuk land.... weirdly, it is full on shorts weather! Was 76F yesterday --- garage doors open... shorts and tee shirt! In fact at 6:00am EST it is already in the mid 50's and in the houses it is "muggy" warm. Strange weather for you... for now... I'll keep this great weather. It's only a matter of time until we see the white stuff again!

Here's hopin' for some warm weather comin' your way!!!!

I havn't done any work the last couple days as the weather hasn't been very cooperative. It's supposed to be in the 70's next week so hopefully I can get something accomplishex.

That snow and rain we drove through in Idaho and Montana probably made its way to you hey Drew? We have had two gorgeous days in a row 70's + hope we don't pay for it.

I went to the doctor today for a pain/rash I have on my back. The doctor said I have shingles. It is quite painful but they have me on meds to help the rash go away. They say the pain can last for months or even years. I will probably just take it easy the next few days.

Get the shot as soon as your Doc says it's OK. Not real cheap but the pain isn't nice at all. A lifetime shot, so only need it once.

Yikes.... good idea to grab some r and r.... the tin will wait. As John Goodman said in a resent movie... "Don't touch the Merch"... no one will touch the merchandise. It'll wait patiently for your recovery.

Enjoy the time!
