Yah, and put the OB on and drop it in the water and take it for a spin and run some video for us. That would be helpful thanks.

Hey, you aren't thinking the flip is a one man job now do ya? Don't muck up that paint job bro! It's awesome!!

That's better. Now it looks sweet!. I may have to come see that in person, let me know when you flip it, i'll lend a hand and listen to Brad complain about something......

Can you change the blue to red so I can see what mine will look like? I need some motivation.

Ive never heard Brad complain once :D. K, Ill let ya know. Im kinda thinking this weekend. I got some things like working on the seats but I really need to get her back over for the real work..... or atleast the work I really enjoy doing. Although if you come over and help you'll be way inside the accepted 20ft viewing distance.

You are a heck of a guy Charlie, so accommodating!

I'd swing by to help with the flip but you know my early morning breakfast requirement:)

Re: 1978 Starcraft Holiday 18 Rebirth

Thanks for all the compliments guys. The finish is fine but if I had a setup to spray it I would have.

Story with the template was boatguy had found a good side shot of a boat with the stripe and traced it out on his computer. After 64 emails :D I adjusted it to my length and then had it printed out on paper. It worked pretty slick.

Re: 1978 Starcraft Holiday 18 Rebirth

Im attempting to salvage the back-2-back seats that were in my boat. Two questions.....

Any reason why AC2 ply wouldnt be ok to use to replace a couple of the seat boards and build new bases? I seen some of you guys coating regular ply with epoxy but wasnt sure if there was a reason.

Anyone have any good tips or cleaners to use to clean up the grimmy looking vinyl? I had a bottle of 3m vinyl cleaner I was going to try but some dummy dropped it on the floor and shattered the bottle.:D

Are you thinking to rebuild and reupholster your back to back seats? If ya, check out the prices at Veda and WalMart on new ones, can't beat it with a stick!

I tried a bunch of stuff but couldn't get the dirt to budge on my vinyl. Even the magic eraser couldn't do it so I'm no help there buddy, sorry.
