Wondering if one of you guys with a 18 SS could do me a favor. Wondering what the distance is from tip of bow to front of the windshield base is. Curious what the difference is between a holiday and SS nose.

I wanna make sure the juice is worth the squeeze. I was looking and I'm not sure I'd pickup the kind of space an SS has. And I'm not moving councils.

Well yesterday got the old girl outside and gave her a quick hose down, filled it up some to check for any leaks pre-GlovIt. Only found one rivet that had a damp spot around it. No other leaks unless you count the swiss cheese transom, you can see the line of screw holes that the PO put in the boat to mount the starboard pieces , looks like some sort of fountain.

Had my helper outside.

Bilge pump that was in the boat works even.

Planned on powerwashing the inside today but ol' ma nature had other plans.... sleet, snow, pouring rain. But thats alright cause I was busy replacing a roached U-joint on my truck.... fun stuff.

Great job on the tear down. I know I'm new too the site but seeing as mine will need to be flipped someday. Venison and beer sounds good. Plus Ive always wanted to fish the grand river so I would show up with boat in tow. Speaking of walleye wish this weather would warm up to head to Trenton channel dyin to figure out this handline stuff now that I have boat ready. Im always lookin for new fishin buddies and new areas figure its cheaper to drive truck without boat behind maybee we can do some fishin trade offs. On good note sold the glaston yesterday didn't do to bad $700 wich is about what I had into it but I've used it for four years. GOOD LUCK GOOD FISHIN JAMES

Been some great Steelie runs this year on the Grand, buddy of mine and another friend hooked up on 29 and landed 18 in one day in downtown GR. Said it was the best day hes ever had. Also last Wednesday I seen a picture from another friend that if the scale checks out his buddy will have the new state record Walleye, it was something like 17lbs. The picture I seen was a small cell picture but it looked like the guy was holding up a huge King. It looked amazing. That was on the Grand downtown also.

Man that outboard looks brand new.

My leaks were from a piece of starboard that was screwed in below the waterline as well. The next piece will have bolt holes above the waterline with the 3M adhesive for starboard down low.

I'm hoping to get out there this week and get some work done as well as pickup those seats already :)
