I like what you have done...I'm new the this forum and have really enjoyed this thread. I just brought home a 1978 21' CC last night...It has at least 4 coats of paint on it and looks rough, but the hull seems pretty solid. I'm gonna try to paint the sides from the chines up this weekend just so its presentable at the dock...I'll go through it this winter for a full restoration. Can I ask what you used for paint...I didn't recall seeing that in any of the posts?
Thanks...
Nice catch, is that rope trim? I like it, may borrow that idealol... actually I'm thinking of using the same stuff in 3/4 size for rub rail{at least till I find some less expensive real rail}.
WOW looking good jspano. Very nice work. Now if I could just get working on mine. Have you tried rubbing alcohol to remove the glue. Use a sorta rough bath rag.Boat is looking good, and I love the aluminum trailer.
do you ever get an alum hull with absolute no leaks??
things have been slow here, i went back to the fenders. i wanted to make them strong enough to use as a step

well the swelling should go down in my face in a day or 2, and i should be able to see again, untill then let me know what you think.
Where ya at Joe, your updates are getting like mine, or are you too busy fishing with her to post up?![]()
i have a question for the tinny experts, the flooring butt joints, they don't fall on the ribs do they??? i was looking at my old pcs (that i have left) and they seem to just run every 4 ft having the stringers only for support.
