You are making great progress! I remember fitting the transom assembly, too. Felt like a major milestone.

You're doing some fine work there!

It's looking great. Keep up the good work!

Once you get to decking the floors things speed up. Then end is in sight and you'll find some new motivation.

Watch yourself with the foam in the heat, that stuff likes to kick off quick!

I've been reading your thread, and finally caught up...she is looking great, and thanks for all the pics of the stringer and rib work, they are really helping me understand the construction. Tagging along.

well haven't updated in a while because it has been crazy busy. the boat is operational. i just have a few things left to complete. it has been an extremely long process but it has been totally worth it. main things left this year are installing the radio and a few interior pieces. next year will be picking out some type of flooring ie removable carpet or seadek. we have had the boat out several times and have really enjoyed it. can't wait to have the full season next year. thanks for all the help and advise it would have been almost impossible without your help.

Looking good! For me, seeing the kids climbing all over the boat is the best part. They look like they're having a blast.

I know I'm way late on this, but congratulations on getting her in the water! Looks like you had some great late season boating!

Here's a few pictures of the boat as it sits today. I installed a pair of Lenco electric trim tabs with the led indicator switch. Also added snap in carpet. This off season I plan on working on the helm and getting Captains call for the exhaust. We've had her out 6 or 7 times this season and I am thrilled. Thanks for all the help and input.

It was a beautiful weekend here in Louisville so Saturday I was able to get some work accomplished. I got my motor mounts installed but not glassed, transom tabbed in, and several of the stringers cut and dry fitted. It is motivating seeing the bones going back in the boat. My goal is to get the rest of the stringers cut this week at night so that maybe I can get them installed this weekend. Slowly but surely she is coming along.

Let me know if anyone has any thoughts on my previous post, hope to be glassing the stringers soon.

What did you find the easiest way to come up with the dimensions for your stringer cuts? I am currently in the same “boat” as you and am in the process of removing all of my rotted stringers, but I’m worried about getting them back in place and cut the right size.

Michael,
I have the exact same make and year as your boat and I am currently in the process of removing the rotted stringers. I am curious how you got your dimensions for the newly fabricated stringers? Were you able to measure your existing stringers before removing, did you have template, or did you just cut to fit in place?D6837BD0-769F-4D02-9CBD-4188717AF094.jpeg8F3A34FE-8FC4-430F-83F1-9939BE7765D5.jpegA0E7FB2D-4D96-483E-ADA0-424A5C61A1B6.jpeg
