The drywall screws are just there for the temp fab work I have taken everything apart and I am putting a layer of csm on the underside of all the plywood. Then I'll reinstall setting everything in pb and fillets before glassing the top. Is it ok to glass over screws? Not sure with the metal expanding and contracting under the glass if it's ok. Gets pretty warm down here !

Lookin good! Are you going to color all of that? Or just cover it with vinyl?

I am painting it the same color as the top cap and building vinyl seats using probably 2 " foam.

...the more light the better! You can take a shop light and shine it down the sides of the hull to see the bad spots but you know there hard to see until ya git a coat of primer or paint on it...

One little technique that can help is to wet the surface with paint thinner on a rag. The gloss and a light at low angle will reveal any flaws.

Technically, no. Should not glass over plain steel screws. Will IT work? Yep!

Your workmanship is looking great! You obviously have more patience than I do! If I would have had a dedicated work area I would have taken a bit more time. Having to move in and out of my garage was a real pain.

You'll have a real beaut when you are done. Keep going!

Ok I need the mfg crew to give me your opinion on adding stripes on the bow to match the stripes going on the seats.
All opinions good or bad are welcome..

I like the stripes. Of course I also like this type of white accent:

Re: 64 Edinboro custom learn somthing new every day

I'm not big on the stripes. Sorry !

If this were mine and I was using the dark teal color on the foredeck and sidedecks, I would paint the raised area on the bow a light cream color. Then I would paint the floor the same color.

Cream and green are "classic boat" colors ... but then I'm kinda a traditionalist at heart. That's why I like "old" stuff!

If you like, the raised lines could also be teal or some other complimentary contrasting color.

Whatever you choose I'm sure you will make it look great!
