Well I found a 1976 22 Chieftain it has only been in the water a handful of times. The second owner bought a new Honda 90 in 2007 and never used it. Only ran by the dealer doing the install to prop it and checkout the install. Transom is solid believe it or not all the original dark brown side panels and cabin cushions are like new but yuck that color. My questions does anybody know what the weight is of this boat really. I know most are I/O and weigh more. The original trailer won't cut it for me as I do quite a bit of saltwater and will need galvanized or aluminum. Curious if a single axle can make it or should I go tandem. Also has anybody put a belly tank in one of these and how much capacity do you think I could get in one keeping in mind I have more space in length without the I/O in the way. This 90 has a 15" pitch prop I am not a speed demon I am guessing cruise 20-25 mph and maybe wide open 35mph ? Looking forward to working on this over the winter. Man this has so much more room than my 19 Arima Sea Ranger. Oh I can grow a garden in all the dirt that the powerwasher took off just the outside. Will get pics up soon hopefully. Thank for listening to a newbie ramble and look forward to reponses. Oh by the way already had a 14' Sea Farer so the Starmada grows here in central Va
