You're making great progress! Nice to know that Hum-bird will replace transducer brackets no charge!

Cool but it's fiberglass. Look at that thing wrong and it will make you itch. :)

I'm hoping to get my jump seats back from the upholsterer so I can pull it out from the snow and work on it in a heated shop over the Christmas break. I'd like to get the interior finished over the winter and replace all the stainless snaps for the camper top. Damn snow :)

Hey SP here is a possible deal real cose to you, should check it out. http://saskatoon.kijiji.ca/c-cars-v...craft-18ft-fiberglass-boat-W0QQAdIdZ329162102

Not much is free from the government but the pleasure craft license is :)

My pleasure craft license came in today so now I've got to Google some 3" high numbers in white to put in each side of the bow.

I would think just about any local sign shop could make them for you on the spot,.....

Or Walmart if you have one around. Aren't they everywhere? Except when you are looking for one.

Actually yeah. I'll take a look around and a sign shop and have them make me something.

If they quote me something crazy I'll take a look around to see what Walmart and the rest have. Looking for something that won't peel off easy.

I got a call and the jump seats are ready. I'm taking it into a heated garage and bolting in the interior pieces and running speaker wires, bolting down the gas tank, etc so she is ready to run in the spring. I've got some flex fuel fill hose coming and stainless steel male snaps that I will pop rivet down to test fit the camper top to see what needs to be replaced, etc.

I'll probably move the axle to over the leaf springs as the trailer is running too high for my taste.

The danger now is not being afraid of getting them dirty and getting some use out of them.

Just got these in too. Stainless steel male snaps to pop rivet in. The old ones were screwed in and loose.

Hopefully this Sat. I can get a lot done. I think a 1/8 inch pop rivet will do the trick.

So far it's jump seats, rear crossmember with speakers getting bolted into the gunwale supports, running speaker wire, pop riveting in the snaps, test fitting the old camper top and maybe remounting the new transducer mounting bracket.

Progress is progress, sprint. The seats look good under the Christmas tree, will look even better in the Holiday. Real good.

More pics.

I got the tank mounted down with the new Shields fuel fill hose. It was tough going as it had to line up prefectly under the seat as there is next to no clearance.

I also redid the fuel sender wire ring terminal and shrink wrapped it. I also setup a new ground from the fuel filler to the engine block so the static has somewhere to go.

I like the new hose as it's flexible, won't breakdown with ethanol based fuels (I won't be using any), and won't collapse as it has a helical coil of wire built into it.
