Re: 87 Four Winns 210 Horizon resto
Hey Rick,
I know you are feeling down and out, but in the end it all works out...
Heck when it happened to me, I didn't speak to anybody for about a week...including my Loving Wife...
Check out my experience and hopefully you'll get a laugh out of it...I know I do, now that it's in the past...

My powerhead is still in South Carolina waiting for the final fundage to get it sent back to me, but it should be good as rebuilt when I get it back...
And also, if its any consolation...the tools you listed, if you decided to do it yourself are way less expensive than you would imagine...If they are just for a one time use...you have a couple of options...
Harbor Freight...most are available and cheap...not intended for a lifetime of use, but should get the job done...before you buy...see below for free tools from me...
Local auto parts rental tools, some even take a deposit on the tool and return all your money when you return the tool...
PM jasoutside, I think he might have some of those specialty Merc tools, work out a deal with him...?
If any of the tools you need are in my possesion, I will gladly ship them to you and when you are done, you can just send them back...let me know before you buy...
Plus a decent machine shop can do any pressing on and off of stuff for a fairly reasonable cost...
Also, the parts list of any reputable shop will include everything plus the kitchen sink...sometimes you might just need the damaged stuff replaced, and can re-use the good stuff...get some opinions from the Engine Forum Gurus...
Hope everything works out and PM me if I can be of any assistance...
Gus
