Completely rotten which is to be expected when it sat outside with no cover for years and years.

I've been cutting up the four winns and it is really rotten!

Someone patched the floor up at some point and added timber right over the rot!

I bet it was a low rider once the 'new' repairs that had been done to it started to soak up water too. Jeez, poster child for what poor maintenance & bad owners can do to a boat.

What's the plan for the donor trailer again?

Ya Jb it's funny because I have had a few people say to me "that's a good looking boat", and on the outside it doesn't look too bad.
After spending some time here on the forum I knew this one was rotten, due to the lack of care.

After i get the four winns hull dealt with I will pull the aerocraft onto the trailer and see if it will work for it.

Then the saws all went to town.

You know it looks like a big v8 would bolt right up and we could go to the lake drags? :victorious:

You sure know how to cut up a glasser.. :D

Um, be sure to wear a PFD, not much freeboard on your canoe

Tip-a-canoe would be a nice boat name though

OK It's "Walleye weekend" up the road in Freeland and I'm hearing fireworks!! It a festival on the weekend of the last Saturday in April which is the opener for inland waters. They have a walleye tournament and many other activities. Some day soon I hope to have the Aerocraft back together to do some fishing myself.

Happy weekend everyone!!!

Back a few months I purchased a complete lower unit off the web, and the guy said it is a short shaft. Well on the 1988 120 Evinrude they called them long and extra long. What i received was the extra long and I needed the long. Oh well!! After tearing it down and looking at all the parts I think I will be OK with utilizing the parts I have along with the parts I can use from the newly acquired unit.

I did get it all torn down and I will have more updated soon.

This is the gear case disassembled.

This is the old gear set that came with the four winns, and the reason I had to find a usable unit.
