Everyone was amazingly cool. Had an awesome time.. I felt so bad i had to bail before the real fun (hard drinking) began!

My daughter now has a new BFF (not boyfriend!!) named Sam.. LOL
Cant wait to hang out again, hopefully for a bit longer next time for me.
I know a couple of you took some shots of my ugly mug, cant wait to see some pics.

Sasto, you are an awesome host and really cool dude, i am sure we will hang again soon!

Well, just made it back in one piece. We had a blast! Sasto giving us a cruise on Amusement, the 55' Chris Craft. This must be how the rich people live! Beautiful boat.

We were put up in a nice little mobile home for the weekend and were given an unexpected tour of the 1 mile island, as Kimi herself got lost! I guess living in a specific 1 mile stretch of property for 15 years doesn't mean that you actually have to go and physically see it...

Sasto & Kimi were great hosts, giving us the rundown of the locals and the amenities of the island. We hung out with a lot of their friends as well and all were extremely welcoming. The food was incredible!! Thank you VH & NSBCraig for manning the grills! If you couldn't find something to eat between the grilled chicken, pulled pork, smoked chicken, london broils, hot dogs, stuffed jalapeno's, blah, blah, blah....you just weren't looking.

We brought along a 12' x 12' inflatable raft which Sasto tied up to a floating barge. Despite a bothersome pinhole leak, the kids all had a blast. We also dropped a couple of jet skis in the drink and took all of the young 'uns for rides around the marina.

We took a bunch of pics and will post some later. Thanks again for hosting this weekend. Even after only a couple of meetings, we have come to regard you all as good friends. And thanks to all who made the long drive, even tho they couldn't stay the whole weekend.

Wow... What a time!!! What a BLAST!!! Great time, with GREAT people, in a great place!!!

Sasto and Kimi, again, thank you SO much for everything. Meeting your friends and neighbors was a pleasure. Everyone I came into contact with on the island, people walking around, walking dogs, people working... everyone was friendly, smiling, and gave at least a nod, if not a hello, how are you today? ...Or some kind of greeting with a smile. Experiencing where you live, for only the short time we were there, the attitude of the people came as no suprise; but is noteworthy none the less.

Fireman, in so far as considering our "crew" to be good "friends", if you recall our first "live introductions" in June, I had said that it felt more like a family reunion than a first time meeting people. Well... This time, that's exactly what it was. My wife and I talked about the fun we had, and all of you for most of the trip home. Just about the only time we weren't talking about it was when she went to sleep for a little while.

Nlain, as usual, I'm sleep deprived at the moment, so I hope you'll forgive my lack of any snide remarks or quirky little "snippets" thrown your way. Please don't feel disappointerd, neglected, nor unimportant if I simply say, it was SO good to see you and the family again.

Alexr254 and family, NSBCraig and girlfriend, First Mate Carole and Captain Skip, it was truely a pleasure meeting all of you. Hopefully we'll get to spend more time together in the near future.

To those who couldn't make it... No, I'm not about to rub it in. I just want you to know that there will be plenty of "next times"

Hey Alex....Was really nice to meet you and the family. Those 2 playing in the raft were adorable. They really did hit it off!

I was a little concerned about the other boaters here at the marina. The place is theirs too. I had a talk with each one of them beforehand, and after you all left. I am proud to be an iboater and have you as friends. They spoke highly of everyone of you they met.

What about those fishermen? The guys did a great job.

Well I finally made it home about 5:30 today, every time I looked there was another batch of rain, this just slows down the travels for awhile, made a few stops along the way just to get out of the car and stretch, did a little shopping at Gander Mountain at the outlet malls in the St Augustine area on 95. For those that do not know Gander Mountain is another Bass Pro or Cabelas.

I had a great time this weekend with all of the iboats folks that came. A very special thanks to Sasto for all the effort he put in to get us places to stay for the weekend. Great places to stay. He and Kimi are the best hosts anyone could ever want. Thanks to you both. The children had some fishing, one of my grandsons was a lucky one this time, Catfish seemed to love his bait. Kimi took the kids out for some put put golf and swimming, they all enjoyed those trips. Thanks to you both, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Alexr254, nscCraig and first mate carole, glad you and yours could make it for a visit with us, we enjoyed meeting you, nsbcraig, good to see you for the second. You are all great people and we hope that you will be able to join us again in the future.

We also got to meet some of the Tiki Hut members, you are all great people, sasto is privileged to know you, and thanks for letting us take over your Tiki Hut.

VH and Fireman, it was great to see you guys and your families again, VH, I too will let you slide, this all day driving has wore me down.

We have to start working on the next one and hopefully we can get a few more members to join us. This group does feel like an extended family and it is a pleasure to be with you all.

Everyone taking their turn at the table for a little lunch. The food was fantastic and there was just enough available to feed a small army.

We spent a lot (I mean a lot) of time at this little tiki hut. I don't how they did it, but Sasto & Kimi managed to arrange for a perfect breeze to come through this thing all day, every day!

What a pleasure it was to have you all visit us in Paradise.....I'm not sure the last of you got to hear that if you Google Earth, the name of this area is Eden! Thanks to everyone who took the time, made the drives, and put the effort into making this weekend a memorable time for all of us! OMG!..The food was amazing! It was nothing short of a BLAST!! to come together again. I think we all knew that leaving St. Augustine. I'm thrilled that we tempted a few other's into testing the waters...it was so nice to meet you all! I also enjoyed seeing the kids again! So well behaved and such a joy to have around! I definately got my "HUG" fix! We're already anticipating our next adventure together! And, YES, I awoke before noon today....15 whole minutes!! HA!

I think I speak for everyone, the PLEASURE was all OURS, you and sasto are the ultimate of hosts, you have a part of paradise, you arrange places for us all to stay, you entertain us, you even entertain our children, what more could we even dream of for a weekend, oh I know, a great 3 hour boat ride on a beautiful vessel that is maintained by you and sasto. I wondered what time you would wake up as I was packing the car and we were cleaning the place we stayed in, before the sun came up this morning, even at about 7:30 when we left I still had not saw any sign of movement at your house, you woke up when I was between Gander Mountain/St Augustine Outlet Malls and exit 3 in Ga. By the way, did you get any work done today? You guys did a great job of hosting a bunch of crazy people.

As at matter of fact, I did get alot accomplished today! But, I will tell you that I did not stir an inch the whole nite long. Woke up exactly as I fell asleep! We'll get another good nites sleep, give Amusement VI a big bath, bottom scrub, and interior cleaning. Then,take her for a ride back to CM for a few weeks! Sorry you guys can't take the return trip... We had a wonderful time bringing her to NI with you all on board! God willing, we'll do it again!

I'd love to post more right now, but it's taken me a few hours to upload these three thumbnails. Everything else I've been trying to upload has failed. I'll try again tomorrow.

I'm having all kinds of trouble uploading pictures. First they show up as thumbnails, then they're attachments. I have no idea what I'm doing with posting pictures. Still havn't figured out how to post regular pictures in a reply.:facepalm: I'll be working on that.:redface: Looks like I've got the thumbnails back now.

Again, the get together was fantastic. The marina members seemed to enjoy our joining them for a few days. I never got the impression that we were imposing upon anyone.

I think it's safe to say that a great time was had by all. Looking forward to the next one!!!

Thanks to everyone involved this was exactly what I was thinking a get together should be. (minus my boat not being there- I'll be sanding more today!)

Satso and Kimi I can thank you two enough, you guys really know how to throw a party!

I'm hoping Kimi has face book so her and Inger can chat, I think I've heard everything Kimi said while we were there, it's kind of funny and cute. I think Inger has a new sister now.

We got to stay on the yacht by ourselves. Which was totally unexpected. We didn't even know we had a place to stay it was great, thanks again. I've been trying to get Inger to transition to living aboard for awhile now and it was a great experience for both of us.

We met some great people and look forward to hanging out with all of you again. (hopefully veritas won't try to poison me again with all those shots, I think fireman got him started but he didn't stop till he was out cold in the chair. Now that's commitment! Oh well somehow it got real late and me and the guy who has the sail boat he's rebuilding ended up the last men standing)

Thanks again to everybody involved wether they were from the forum or not everyone was great and we thank you all.

Lets get together more. (Oct 15 we are having a clam/ fish party at out place during Biketoberfest)

Sasto I am glad you can enjoy the photos to relive the weekend, I may have to go through them to be sure I remember everything, I did leave a few out but 90% of them are in the photobucket albums.

I think that place pretty well beat up on Fireman, you would think he would learn to duck and prevent some of that from happening.

Oh! Speaking of mini beers, Mr Fireman commented on nlain and wife holding their own when the shots started. You have to understand, we have had a lot more years of practice than you have.
