I always knew you were skewed a bit... but 45? is quite a bit!!!! So now do I have to hold my PC @ a 45? angle from now on to look at your Posts???? Or am I being biased now

finished up the couches....long ways from that first boat I did, but people ask me if I can do it and I just say sure! Upholstery has pretty much taken over the business, I dont even really look for boats to repair anymore...so may not spend as much time here as I once did...I am happy to try and answer questions regarding upholstery though!

So my little adventure has definitely changed course, but I am happy and business is booming, so cannot complain!

picked up my new toy today, its a 20" long-arm Singer, great for canvas/pleating work...sure beats the old 7" arm singer I started on a while back lol

now if I can just talk someone into retiring and coming to work with me, I could have both my machines running at once!

I get mileage to template boats in AR though, right?

I got that as part of a package deal, I bought an old upholstery shop's tools and inventory for a packaged price, got a lot of neat goodies, that just the one I thought you all could appreciate!

Finally! this one cushion has been my bane on this job...I tried using the existing vinyl to pattern off of but would not work right...so after several failed attempts, I finally got it wrapped!

The original pattern used 3 pieces, but I used 5 to make it look better around the curve because 3 just would not suck in tight enough..

well today I took a day to try and organize my shop, and get my new long arm some table space....I turned my big table 90 degrees in the room and added an 8' extension to one side...this gave the long arm a good sized work space, and also added a much needed wrap around behind my current machine...it seems to be pretty a good set up

also added a wrap around behind the long arm...still have not cut out the relief hole for where I sit

So now my shop just looks that much more cluttered, but I think I have made the best use of available space....I need a bigger shop!

Just like an Arkee-SAW-Yur...always gripin bout sumthun!!!! Uhhhmmm, I got a three car shop totally dedicated to my woodworking, used to have 1/2 of a two car garage and I Gripe all the time about needed a bigger one. Hmmmm...does that mean I'm and Arkee-Saw-Yur????
