Finally these and then I'll quit boring you guys and go eat dinner...cornish hens, I know when the wife thinks I'm getting too fat..it's cornish hens and salads around here. My body rejects the vegetables without ranch dressing!

A few more...

That last pict of floor is that a spray on thing or carpet, cant tell.It looks great man, makes mine look crappy.you gonna make it a center console or a side or tiller?Remember i also have a 1971 starcraft 18ft with a 70hp johnson,my splashwell area isnt very sturdy i would never attempt to mstand on it,how about yours, I also added some support brackects between transom and forward part of splashwell like newer aluminum tracker boats have for added stability in transom.

Hey JJacobs, The flooring is Nautolex vinyl. Really durable stuff Jake, it's textured so it's non skid (glues down). I did mine in one piece and it has it's challenges... I'm no expert so it's pretty DYI friendly. My big arse will never attempt to stand on this splashwell or any other. Joking aside mine was very sturdy no reason for added support. My rig will eventually have a 90hp on the back and after re-assembly I have no worries about it's ability to handle it.

Yeah Brother..everytime I start to get wrapped up in what I still have to accomplish....I try to look at how far I've come.

...Man that was pretty deep,,, I should start writing for Hallmark. Seriously just when I get to a milestone in this project I start thinking of all the little things..that add up to a weeks worth of wiring and installation.

Just think, those salads will make your boat go faster. I've been meaning to give them a try also.

The boat is looking good!

JJacobs. Hey I know you like Center console rigs...Have you see this guys boat?? One of my all time favorite's. My next boat will be a 20-22ft version of this. Except I think I'll go with the Teak/Holly vinyl flooring. The wood flooring has to be a bear to take care of for a fishing rig.
Howza.. where ever you are I hope you don't mind me putting this up.

I bet she's concerned with the gas mileage...that's gottta' be it! I figure a few more salads shoved down my throat and my boat will go alot faster minus the 128lbs from the passenger seat.. Just kidding Babe, get back to painting the side walls. :)

I'm northwest of Atlanta about 30 miles. About 350 mi. to Brunswick. Been here for about 6 years and haven't got that way yet. But I hear the Atlantic calling me. Got to get some salt water fishing in, miss it it from 25 years on the TX. Gulf coast.

Ok, so the stinking painting is done!!! Completely done,,, we celebrated that and our 11th Anniversary tonight. We went to dinner at a place you could buy a car cheaper than a steak and some time in the middle of our celebration the wife says lets go home and pull the tape from the paint job, light a fire in the outdoor fireplace and drink some wine/beer! I swear I wanted to propose all over again right there. Here's the pics.

In the last pict there is another boat in the background with beers on bow and a diet coke can, with registration numbers on the boat, maybe your next project.

Now that's my idea of a date right there! Hoss, you are a luck man, don't ever take it for granted, and it sounds like you won't! Glad you had a great time, the boat is really coming along. Really feels like you've accomplished something when the painting's done!

Your a lucky man hoss! We do the camp fire thing often and we both love it.

I have a great sence of accomplishment myself seeing that sweet looking vessel. I'm going out to buy my paint this morning.
