Well Mrs Ken just advised me that a couple of friends are coming over at 5 p.m. Guess I'll see them after the game. Just got comandeered into peeling potatoes and missed the first 5 minutes of the 2nd and 2 goals :facepalm: My greeting to them will be Hello, come in, sit down and shut up !!! they are not hockey people :facepalm: If they were they would arrive before or after the game

Rob....remember the first few games are always like this...and all the players need a couple of games to settle down.
The only exception was probably 2005 in Grand Forks....that year was shear domination.....remember these 'youngsters' from Team Canada that year:
-Sidney Crosby
-Patrice Bergeron
-Jeff Carter
-Ryan Getzlaf
-Dion Phaneuf
-Mike Richards
-Corey Perry
-Brent Seabrook
-Shea Weber.
.....this was the team that taught the Russians a new word...."Shellacking"........
..yeah, that kind of team event is great but it isn't yearly thing.
Lets see what they are like in...say game 3 and 4.
