thanks Suzuki, it does look nice, I suprised myself. I highly reccommend the paint im using.<br />Unreal amount of hours has gone into the preperation though. <br />I just might even take you up on that offer. I love to travel.<br />Plenty more pics avaliable at link.<br />cheers

Well I don't know what Australian winters are like, but if they're nicer than here I might just fly my boat down there :) <br /><br />Saw the other pictures and it really looks like all the prep work payed off big time. Looks like a really mirror smooth finish.. again great job!

It's all lookin spectacular tengals but the windshield is gonna make it or break it. Tell your vendor to get his *utt in gear. I wanna see the WINDSHIELD! :D <br /><br />ps, don't mean to put the pressure on.

thanks peterf, true winter is cold, but does not stop work on the craft. I just need to get it ready for the mag in july and the fishing in september when the first run of snappa come into the bay.<br /><br /><br /> :) <br />cheers

Everything surely looks great, I'm looking foreward to see more as you get nearer to finishing everything. I am going to paint my own boat soon here in Denmark, and I am corious about the roll and tip. I thought the meaning was to use shorthaired mohair painting pads to tip, but I see you used a long haired brush. Did you just use the brush to level the rolled out paint or what ?? It looks fantastic, I was going to spray it on, but never tried that either.

thanks for the posts guys.<br />G Dane, tipping can be done with either a foam or a brush. Definatly roll with a foam roller though. I found better tipping results with a brush and yes, it barely touched the paint, just levels it. The brush stays almost dry.<br /><br />cheers
