Re: Dunaruna, Kiwi Phil & Get Reel
Hi Honey I'm Home.

fantastic days cricket!!!!!!!!

Lets get the Glen McGrath bit out of the way, I saw him go over on the ball and also witnessed his scream of pain, very nasty!
The England supporter in me was happy not to have him playing but the cricket fan (by far the biggest part of me) was very pi$$ed off not to be able to see him bowl. IMO he is the best bowler in the world and this game would have been my last chance to watch him play test cricket. I wish him a full if not speedy recovery.

Main points of the day:

What was ponting doing putting England in.
Shain Warne's dropped catch.
Trescothick being caught off a "No Ball"
Trescothicks batting
Flintoffs batting
Pietersons batting
G Jones showing why he should not have been picked
Warnie having a go at the umpire re LBW
Harmison hooking Bret Lea for 6
S Jones hitting Gilchrist back over his head for 6
Warne being hit for 100 runs (the biggest cheer all day for an Aussie)

All in all I have had a great day at Edgbaston, a lot of beer has been drunk, a lot of songs sung and a lot of cheering England batting. I could go on and on about todays play but lets see what tomorrow brings.

The big question is: will 407 be enough for a first innings lead, its a good batting track and the England bowlers will have to be very good to limit the Aussies and take wickets tomorrow.
