Yep, looks like you got ample filleting and a great clamping. Hopefully you did NOT put the muscle to them clamps and squeeze all the PB out of the joint.!!!!:D

I pre set the clamps to just a bit loose where it slid on with little effort then just snugged em up . The lamination pb was just plane resin cabosil mix then I added 1/4 " chopped fibers for the edge filling . Chris needs to fertilize the money tree and order the cloth and mat to get this show on the road . In the mean time more grinding and cleaning on the rest of the hull . The transom should be fully glassed be for we tie the stringers to them right ?

Yep, I'd put on one CSM layer and 1-2 layers of 1708 with a 8-10 overlap on the hull sides and bottom.

SP not all of the woven roven needs to go.. You have alot of places that have voids and cracks and all that needs to go..

If you use a router be very careful.. It can and will jump around and gouge into the hull very fast.. Hold on tight to it..

I would grind down all the glass to good clean glass and then just turn the grinding dics on its edge and cut out the wood..

This will work about as fast and easy as anything else you can do..

The transom looks great..:watermelon: Very nice work..:D

Yeah if you use the router only go 1/4" deep per pass. The small laminate routers work well for this. It can jump but not to bad with shallow passes. You might just use a circ saw set to depth. Hey what do I know. I'm just guessin here!!!

Beautiful work on the transom install!
See it wasn't all that hard, it is just intimidating at first thinking about all that resin kicking off on ya before you are done, but like woody said, it really does go faster than you think...
Again, Kudos to you and Chris...
Hope the final bits of grinding go smoothly and his Benjamin tree grows to massive proportions!:)

Nice work on transom & install. Looks great!

I like the spacing sticker along the inside of the clamps & the plywood ledge to rest the clamps on the top of transom to align them back to the best location, making final fit & finish tightening quicker.

Transom looks great. I'm sure 4 litres of PB will suffice.:D Seriously, You could tow a Mack truck and not hurt that transom. Awesome.

Had plenty of time really . The temps were around 68 hardener at 1% . Got resin all over a not so new work shirt ..

The extra bracing was GT's design . But I can take credit for the stoppers !:)

This accomplishment can,t go unrewarded !
An absolutely beautiful day on the water down here ! The Admiral was on a roll ! She had 3 of these in the boat before me and Chris even wet a line ..

Around 70 if ya count the ones we threw back .. :fish2:

Might need to pick up a couple . A fish samich sure sounds good !
Funny I had fresh shrimp for bait and also found some old bait in the freezer that we were just going to throw out . The old nasty bait was catching just as good if not better than the fresh stuff .. An hour and a half at the same spot we lost our anchor and headed to the ramp !

Thanks guys ! Now I want to land one of those bull reds like pmc !

Ok now don't try this unless your a professional or maybe Jas ... :D
Removing stringers with chainsaw - YouTube

And the grinder fits perfectly in Chris's hand !

I think we have made our minds up to keep both consoles and windshields . Leaning towards building seat boxes for the 2 front seats instead of pedestals . Port side will incorporate the livewell/cooler .
Have a great tomorrow everyone !
