i don't want to stir up any problems but I have noticed that more SC owners are posting on the rebuild thread and not as much on here. I think thats great but we seem to be losing interest in our own Starcraft forum. Most of the threads posted are dealing with the restorations ( I'm one) but I think I would rather post my restoration here to help keep the enthusiasm going. Like I said, I don't want to separate us from the other gentlemen but we do have a shared interest with SC. I just don't want it to go away and I know we learn from other boaters too.
Sorry about the rant....as you were.

Dale, the forums are cyclic (sp?) We have periods where folks historically get busy on other things. I've been living in the treestands since Oct1. got 4 in the freezer:D

Great to hear from ya NB! We figured you were out terrorizing Bambi LOL. Glad you did well on your hunts. Of course from your pics we would expect nothing less.

You are 100% correct NB I run a very active car forum and the winter months are slow to the point where no posts for a couple of days. I travel out of state Sept-May so I can't work on my boat to much but I will always check in with the boards.... :D

Yep! I've noticed the slowdown too. And since I don't have a boat yet I have to live vicariously through you guys!!:D The first thing I read on here was Papa's Islander resto and I don't think I've missed a day since! I always stop in here first then hit the boat topics and questions forum and check back here again!

2 per day unlimited throughout the season, which is 6 months per year in some counties.

Yeah, and mine's about the slow WAY down too.... I'll be winterizing any day now. But I'll still be working on the boat here and there throughout the winter and most likely I'll keep checking in here every day, if for nothing else than to see if I'm still ahead of Jasoutside. ;)

Sounds like a CC or open-bow conversion thread in the works to me:p

(or are you going to find another 21' Starchief to mate with it to create a 32' runabout?)

Hope the hunt was fun out there, make room in the freezer!:D

You guys are a bad influence and make me want to buy more boats than I need so im trying to stay away from you. :D

Like NB Ive been hiding in the woods whenever I get time and Im not touching the Holiday project till after deer season is over, otherwise Ill get started on it and not want to stop.

Nice work on the 4 in the freezer NB, Ive got one in mine so far (my first one with a bow ).

By the way, I am super jealous of you boys who have had some good hunting time. My bow hasn't moved off the shelf. The way my family of five goes through meat they may start chewing on the Islander when the freezer goes empty:eek:

Well...at least next year you will have a chest freezer in the garage full of tasty perch and walleye fillets.:D (the omega 3 stuff is good for the offspring's brains:cool:)

Salmon too, if you get Broadcast to let you troll behind his rig;)
