Very cool. I have a friend who is into N and belongs to an active modular club. They have quite the layout and their modules are built to a national standard so they can combine their modules with other groups using the same standard. He wanted me to join but I really prefer O gauge and also wasn't interested in standing around running trains all day at the shows they go to. I belong to an O gauge club called the Norther Central High-Railers. Basically we're a group of guys with good-sized home layouts and we meet once a month at each others homes for dinner and to play trains. I've made a number of great new friends through the club. Tomorrow night we're all meeting at a non-club member's home who apparently has a ridiculous HO scale layout that's like 2000 sq. ft. or something and has been written up in numerous publications. Going to be something to see.

Holy crap...I just double checked the guy's web site...apparently his layout is 2,850 sq. ft. and has 22 scale miles of track. WOW!

Luv the storage Rick and that price ya paid. Glad they switched the frequencies over to digital, only have an old analog tv out here and found it to distracting{lol}...but crank up the tunes and....:)

EZ, never did get into any clubs or organized thingys, but used to work with a guy who did like ya'll, switch homes once month for get togethers...sounded like they had a great time. Somehow I wandered away from it, sold a bunch and gave my nephew{no kids of our own} the rest...spent a lot of relaxing moments with it tho!!! That guy's lay-out is a 'must see' for sure...wow

OK...I'm outta here for a while...need to get something/anything done.

LOL HSF The monster TV in the corner has been replaced with a 32" LCD ( SWMBO felt the old one took up to much of my workbench space ) course then there was the deal for the new front loading laundry machines that came with the new shop TV :D. I also have a DVR out here and the Laptop 99% of the time the TV is on my religious programing ( as you can see in one of the pics ) the weather channel :D. I pretty much live out here other than when its time to sleep LOL. I have 4 teenagers at home and my newest grandson 6MO and my  MIL so I dont go into the house unless I have to :D.

Woo Hoo...Party at TC's cabin, I'll bring the beer and saws-all...

OK, just too much fun with these... mine, back about 5 yrs or so before the "bypass surgery" slowed me down...That Suzuki {below the ladder} was a friend's and.. it's hard to see, but that old 'unknown' next to it, brought me $75.00 and neither the buyer or me had any idea if it was a keeper or even ran{given to me for a work exchange}.

This was my first wood stove I put in{freebie} I'm on number three now{never cold in the winter lol}
gar2z.jpg

Notice the armrests on the seat... awesome captains chair...when your without a boat...make believe!...
gar3.jpg

Don't laugh at my trophy antlers below the bass...that was my first bow kill and looked like an elk when I seen it.
gar4.jpg

Now to stay on the boating track...

Yes I've been a tin man myself a few years back. My last tub - unknown or at least forgotten year Sea-king 16' 40 hp merc homemade tiller set-up{not my creation}, gave enjoyment for 6 years before some guy from Ohio came up and bought it{I needed $$$ at the time} but I did do the paint job.
tinken1.jpg

And finally one for Mike{64}...on St. Clair, nice calm breezeless{notice the net} day for any 16'er...lol

Anyways sorry ya had to see my mug but this was a needed break from the madness...and some day this will look like a shop again.

LOL CBK, back in my younger days, fresh out of the service, I worked for a company out of Jackson Mississippi selling magazine subscriptions{ya one of 'those' people..had a ball traveling all over the southern half of the USA though} Anyways, was working around the St.Cloud Fla. area, and walked up and rang a doorbell and just as the homeowner opened the door a friggin chameleon or newt or whatever it was{ looked like godzilla's offspring to me at the moment..lol} jumped or fell or plain out an out tried to attack me and landed right on my shoulder....well I don't know who got the bigger kick out of watching me make a durn fool of myself, the 'Lizard' or the lady standing at the door, all I remember is that at that moment in time, I had more moves than Soul Train, Michael Jacko and the Village People combined....never will forget that day.

You know it's your guy's sense of humor that brings these back to mind....luv this place!!!

lol..thats funny.....

LOL Lizzards , Love buggs and any number of other SW Floriduh crawling pests :D. I dont know though ahalf dozen good old Floriduh Palmetto buggs painted to the transom might tsave on gas a little as long as they all kicked at the same time :D.

Rick

palmetto's...roachs on steriods that can fly!! One came through my airvent in my apartment before I bought the house..SOB was on the wall EATING PAINT..WTH!!!

Kenny of all that you have done so far the most amazing part to me honestly is the finish on the cap . Metalflake is a royal pain to bring back and you pulled it off in spades :D. Your gonna have to issue shades with life vests when folks get on her :D.
