Wow, what a creative way to make a great boat out of something others would have passed over! I am always impressed when people see things that others don't and forge forward to make a dream become reality.

Only one word describes the work you've done.. FANTASTIC..

Glad everyone is enjoying.

Should I make another where it's sinking?

J/K Opps, I wouldn't bring ya down like that.

I love this thing and hope one day we could float side by side.

Heck, I'll even drink a Carona with ya!:D

Add some flames to the paint job. Everything with flames goes faster.

and red paint. Painted red with flames, it would probably get on plane just using a couple old oars.... :)

Todd.

I saw those pictures and snapped them up with thoughts swimming in my head about what I was going to do with them....I think photobucket was still hot from getting them uploaded when I grabbed them.

Tis nasty and cold and I have nothing better to do today, so I'm going to see if I can put some ideas to pixel for your enjoyment. I'm sure I don't have to prompt you all to check back later since most people just sit at their computer pushing the "refresh" button

Re: hull extension in progress with picks

ive never seen a 1.2 ratio....1.4 somthing was the lowest ive seen.....

i like the bbc for relyability.....in fact i love the reyliblity.......

but....if you talk to the race guys....they say that the bb is a thing of the past....unless you go to a really bb....(505) because the stroker can be made as reliable....use less fuel.....and a far lighter design.....because of the spin speed the gearing does not have to be as severe....(not that that matters)

the only thing that worries me is ......as you say....revs are a engines worst enemey.

4500--------6000 is a big honkin jump....thats why i want it to redline ot around 7 or 8.....is if i sat wot is 6 and dont go over that.....in fact limit it... i should get the crazy speed i want....and the relyability i need.

your thoughts while we are hangin on for red fury to give us some streach laughs?

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a "stroker". I realize a 383 small block is a stroker but I have never heard this term before and I wonder what this term refers to.

Thanks!

The term stroker comes from increasing the length of the stroke of the engine over stock....longer connecting rods. Otherwise you "bore" out the engine, increasing the diameter of the pistons.
