Re: I'm back, 78' SS resto
I was needed by the kids and couldn't finish my last update, 23 month old squirming on my lap wanting me to read a book and not play on my phone.
So I got the coat-it on but ran a little short, I got all the seams done and most of the questionable rivets. I think my 3" brush was a little big for what I was doing and wasted a lot. I think I'll order some more to finish all the rivets and I want to coat the pitted inside of the transom skin after I fill some corrosion holes. I also got a couple coats of urethane on the tops of the front 2 deck sheets when I was taking a break from standing on ribs. Did I mention my back is sore.
Thanks captmills, I am looking forward to standing on a nice flat deck for a change while working on it. Right now the paint plans are Navy blue for the top sides, consoles, and original stripes and polished Aluminum everywhere else. Light grey carpet for all the horizontal places inside and navy carpet for all the vertical places inside.

in edit Little wore out today, where I was trying to go with all this, I've got enough done to put my stringers back in and get my floor supports laid out and glued before sealing them.
