Re: Man vs. Boat (season 1).
Yah, what the heck is going on around here!
Yah, what the heck is going on around here!
I'm with you on the moving the boat so you can work on it at the house also Patrick. Mine is about 20 mins away a family members house... Simply no way I could store it here. But it seems like everytime I get to work I realize I forgot some tool that I really needed at home! Drove all the way over there once to dewinterize the boat.. Only to realize I left the battery sitting at the house! It gets better though man don't worry.. Your doing great and like someone else said... It's better to take everything slow and know its done right rather than throw it all together and hope its right!
Just checking in PMC. You get the stringers cut to height yet?
It took a few days but i read through the whole thread.Great thread and I hope everything is still going good for you with the stringers.

Moving slow, my friend, these glass boats are a cruel mistress...
If only there was some sort of alternative? I've heard about these metal type boats, no dentist tools needed for rebuilding![]()
Ooh, now the classic woodies I think we can all agree on... You just posted my dream boat...
I actually like 'em all... Jas knows I'm just messin with him in good fun (I hope)...
Good work, Troop and S.P. - been following along (Troop, don't sweat that gas tank too much - it will be sub-deck and you probably got enough of the primer on it to make the protective paint stick)... S.P. your MFG paint job is looking killer... JBC, I am about to go check out your threads and see what you have bought lately... P.S. Since Gus is out for a spell, maybe we should meet up over on his thread and wreck the place... I think he has some ammo laying around in his garage that could be fun... Or, Jas is logged off for the night, we could cause some trouble over there too...

Thanks jbc for the thoughts and recommendations. Haven't firmed up color choice bit thinking blue - either the original or something a little lighter like the are coming out of the cc factory these days...
Been trout fishing in Montana for the last week, so no boat progress to report... We had a blast...actually checking up on some threads via the in flight wi if at about 40k feet somewhere over st Louis I think... Pretty cool. I'll post up some pics when I get back..
And he joined the mile high Iboats club ta boot ! This guy's got it going on ! LOL !![]()
Now I know who the real instigator is......and here I thought you were a fine upstanding member of the Bar...Oh well, I guess even barristers [ even though you're not English, but you do seem to speak it...] have a dark side...LOL
Keep up the great progress...
Later.![]()
I'm sorry, I didn't know you were one of Those kinds of a lawyer ~ jetting about, fishing in fair off remote locations (<<that may be a slight exaggeration of the truth).
.
Fishing in Montana...that explains why I haven't seen any updates...
Bet you had a blast...I know I would!
