Just a wild guess on the pad, it seems like both you and S.P. have it nailed...seems to be good for vibration reduction and to keep from marring the finish...

I guess you would have to try the engine with and without it to see if there is any real benefits...

I don't know about that:

I reckon that motor will push the MFG around just fine for an official splash. And better then a paddle! Any chance for a memorial day outing?

I think I may be ready for Memorial Day weekend as long as Murphy doesn't show up. Not sure I want to take it out for the first time on such a busy weekend. I'll have to see how much I get done in the next few days.

Sometimes, being in the office late does have it's perks Helps w/ my ADHD to have a few browser windows open in the background Besides, helps make the time fly!!!!!!!!!

For many, many years, we left FOR the lake on Memorial day for just those reasons. Then spent the rest of the week feeling like we had the lake to ourselves

Make sure the batteries are changed up on the vid and still camera and get plenty of each
