Re: pic of work so far

So, we'll see the finished product by Easter then? :p ;)

I'm gonna get my Grinder and some flapper disks tomorrow. I looked at a couple and can see a difference in angle of deflection for the individual papers. I'm going with a 4 1/2 grinder since I can't hold on to large heavy tools like a 7in for very long, and I want to be more precise ( read: not grind through my hull accidentally )

One thing I noticed though, is some screw onto the grinder, the others use the Arbor...which have you used?

Well I got both there Mike , the HF one is a threaded bolt and my crafsman was a arbor. I didnt think I would really like the bolt one but they both work well !!!

AND I didnt grind threw the Hull on mine !!! STEVE lol

Sawzall is for those who want to work too hard at something easy. All it took for me was a skilsaw with an incorrect depth adjustment

It was so easy I didn't even know I had done it! :D

Meh, you gotta do the Easter thing, but no one has to dictate how long you have to stay!

I'm one step closer to working on my boat...I picked up a Makita Grinder and a flapper disc from Home Depot...40 grit..that suckers going to eat glass fast! Now all I need is the tyvek suit!

But first, I gotta get the wife a new vehicle, we sold her Grand Am yesterday!

Have a good Easter John. Evidently my boat just had to be at the mechanic's shop last Wednesday so they could start working on it this coming Monday:confused: So everything set out in yesterday's MONSOON rain with no cover on it inside a 12 foot fence I couldn't get thru!

OHHH MAN that stinks North , !!!!!

Well I was out there wet sanding her with a long board , all most enough water on the garage floor to float her, lol I got to get one more coat of primer on the transom !!!

And I heard the guys talking about orange peel , well know I know what there talking about !!! lol

There is just a couple spots on the transom that I want to get just a little bite more of a build up on and it should be good !!! I got to run but will try to get some pic's up later tonight !!!

You guys have safe travels out there today and Happy Easter again !!! John
