Well we're about done painting the sterndrive (COMPLETED power leg) now we hafta paint the housing on the boat where it attaches and the prop (got it stripped and ready for alumiprep) then re assemble it all without damaging the new paint YIKES....got a lead on 5 new tires for the trailer $125 on Craigslist, hafta wait a week for the guy to remove his 1 yr old tires..we will see if his are actuall 1 year old when we get there next week. The ones on the sleek trailer are 1991 tires!!!!!!! and one 2005 tire...no spare! so about one more dang week! for splash

the wife is out wet sanding the Newman 18' in prep for paint,

and Im stuck working on a couple photos for a client (Station casinos) we did all of thier guestrooms, so if ya look at thier websites/book a room etc, almost all of the roomshots are ours.

HVAC Bill
Yeah I tried for (2) 21 year olds = (42) for my birthday, the wife nixed that request too...so don't feel bad lol

check out his 23' sleekcraft with a JET ENGINE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBj0IC9IClk

ROFL - Thats ok I got you beat, my 1st wife was my age, my second wife was 16 years older I traded her in when she hit 50 for my present wife ( the one that will probably kill me but at least I will die happy) shes now 34 :D:D:D
now my present wife is younger than my step kids LOL

BTW- That is one wild jet boat, but I don't think I would want to be sitting beside the engine unless it has one hell of a scatter shield

Re: PROJECT ~ JEZABEL 23' Sleekcraft Executive ~ Turbo Restore ~ Tons of pics

Uhhhhh, that is insane! Not much use in putting a sound system in that boat huh?

Hiya Mddubya
Yeah ...that is nuts eh... unless those headphones have stereo sound in em....neat but I guess it only hits 60 anyways...so bot worth all the expenses....and PS I would definetly do the Poli-Glow on that skiboat of yours.
...comet will scratch it all up, vaseline works for 1 day, and rubbing compound/polishing compoun/then wax lasts a few weeks....the poliglow is all season and it definetly works.....the kit comes with the poliprep scubber and chemical that cleans the heck outta the surface

I would't want to be next to it either, exposed hot stuff, no scatter shield...jp4 jet fuel onboard....Ill pass on the purchase (its for sale 15k includes a dually truck truck to tow it with)

BTW HVAC Bill, I gotta say since now it's a contest....I got YOU beat lol
my second and current wife is 15 years younger, she's only 27! HA!
beat that! (you'd have to get divorced and re-married lol) I win!

Way to go Vegas!! you Win LOL.
No more divorces for me, I'm done you win, I give up hahaha
Thats ok, the funniest or maybe scary part of all of it is my present wife and my first wife are now best of friends, figure that one out. my step-son scott from my 2nd marrage worked for me and actually lived with us for about a year when he was down on his luck last year and still comes to my and my present wifes parties and events.
Talk about a Jerry springer Household

Hey Vegas that Sleek looks great. I got a question for you on that Poli-Glow. I ended up getting rid of that 1979 Newman my wife and I bought and picked up a 1987 Four Winns 190 Horizon, better boat than that Newman by far. My question is about the red & grey Gel-coat. On that boat it is faded in several places, but looks like new in others. Can the Poli-Glow restore the faded areas into looking like the good areas, or does it just shine up what is there? Im curious if it acts more like a wax, or more like a restorer of sorts. By the way, good job on the Sleek, now hurry up and finish it so I can see what that Newman looks like all painted, Im curious to see how that color looks on the boat.

Yeah the JP4 isn't what has me afraid. It takes a lot to ignite that stuff so unless the engine blows I am good.

Nah the noise from that thing is what scares the hell outta me... and I forget if I said it already or not but Happy Birthday (belated) even if I said it already!

Hi Baca and good call on the new foar winns congrats! is it a project? or ready to rock and roll? post some pics make a thread if you're doing work on it!

The poliglow is basically a waterbased acrylic clear...it will restore the luster to everything it coats....

LOL yeah Nicky I hear ya... I worked around jp4 in the army...was in a helicopter unit...worked on the jp4 refuling trucks...had to do it in the sun outdoors (because of the fuel) it is basically kerosene....hard to ignite, not like in the movies BOOM etc
thanks for the birthday wishes! Now if I could get some of my own siblings to maybye call and say HI happy birthday that would be a nice change! lol 7 kids on our family...

UPDATE . . .. .no work on Sleek today...the wife wet sanded the Newman boat project (top is all done and 75% of hull is done sanding)
we actualy spent the better part of the day working on our GLASTRON! 175 the trailer needs cosmetics/paint and some TLC the boat just needs wax and a good cleaning..... another project uuuuhg! thats 3
